In line with its aim to improve its services and create a convivial atmosphere within the working environment, ZRE introduced DigiCafe within BDD. Situated on the GF of BDD 1499, DigiCafe offers a selection of ready-made sandwiches, “Plat du Jour”, desserts, and drinks at affordable prices for employees. One of the greatest benefits is that BDD employees truly feel it´s their coffee shop; they are proud of it and enjoy meeting the community.
Launching of Berytech Digital Park, BDD 1294.
20 December 2012 marked the opening of the 2nd building at BDD, Berytech Digital Park BDD1294. The building is operated by Berytech, the 1st initiative in Lebanon and the region that provides an environment to support entrepreneurs.
The inauguration event gathered entrepreneurs, community members, and VIPs around a great atmosphere while enjoying the entertaining program and delicious food.
BDD 1294 hosts an open lively and dynamic working space where startups can rent desks daily, weekly or monthly in addition to private small offices ranging from 25 to 90sqm.
Launching of Beirut Digital District
In September 2012, ZRE announced the launching of Beirut Digital District (BDD) under the patronage of H.E. Prime Minister Najib Mikati and in the presence of H.E. Mr. Nicolas Sehnaoui.
The project aims to be the center of attraction for creative minds through Incubator/ Accelerator Parks designed to host startup ideas and for Commercial Parks as sites for established companies. BDD will offer the right ecosystem of IT infrastructure coupled with state-of-the-art services where companies can increase their productivity and competitiveness and thus grow.
To date, 3 buildings are already operational with a built-up area of 9,000 m2, another 6,000 m2 will be delivered during 2014.
33 companies have already joined BDD´s community, 650 employees occupy the premises now. Eventually, in a 10 years period, the project has the potential to grow to 120,000 m2 of built-up area.

The Platinum Tower: A sculpture of Light
In 2010, ZRE announced the completion of The Platinum Tower project a 33 floor luxurious residential tower with a BUA of 55,000 sqm and a total construction area of 91,000 sqm, with apartment sizes ranging from 300 to 1800 sqm.
To date The Platinum Tower is the largest residential development in Lebanon, and ZRE is proud by what its tenants and industry experts say about it: The Landmark of Beirut, Supreme Quality, a Shimmering Sculpture of Light, beyond comparison.
ZRE’s efforts coupled with the community it has created by carefully selecting its tenants makes The platinum Tower today a go-to destination for every person who wishes to create his dream apartment in an unparalleled luxury setting.
In 2010, and as part of its CSR program, ZRE finalized the construction of the Bachoura School that it donated to the Ministry of Education in an effort to improve the educational environment for the children of an area deteriorated by the Lebanese war and not yet restored. The total project BUA totaled around 7,500m2.
In addition, in line with ZRE´s aim to support creativity, ZRE donated its gallery spaces at The Platinum Tower and Villa Zein to host art exhibitions among which are “Mark Quinn” By LAB Arts, “Harlan Miller” by LAB Arts, “Jean Jansem” by Aline and Gary Fattal, “House of Today” by Cherine Magrabi, “Afaq” by Razan Chatti, “Shabab Uprising” by Ayyam Gallery, and “Ipanam” by Hamjazkayin Art Gallery.
